Reverse Engineering

Reverse Engineer is not necessarily a bad guy or a hacker. We had several cases where our clients needed reverse engineering for their own systems.

Example 1. Third-party company developed sophisticated software solution for our client including custom document format. For some reason this company has not provided our client with any documentation on that format. Our task was to write compatible documents. File format was so sophisticated that our Reverse Engineer spent a week figuring out all the details.

Example 2. Our other client had CTO and programmers team who made them a web solution. After while the CTO decided to quit together with his team. Out task was to add tons of new functionality to that system. When we started it was just folders with asp files and database with tons of tables. For some reason guys who made it were not available to answer our questions. We had to make complete reverse engineering of all the system before we started adding new functionality.
