Web Development

Our primary goal in web development is to make your site beautiful, stable and functional.
Professional web design along with proven web programming leads to invariably high quality results. We develop web sites of any complexity - from simple HTML homepage to really complicated e-business solutions with integrated database, client and server scripting and on-line data processing.
We implement our solutions on Perl and Active scripting languages (ASP) - VBScript, JavaScript, PerlScript and PHP.
We are highly experienced in Apache and IIS web-servers, Chilisoft ASP, MySQL and MS SQL Server database servers, .NET platform and other tools. It's not a problem to support any other web server software.

Web design and technology approaches:
  • Web-design
  • HTML and Dynamic HTML (client-side scripting: JavaScript, VBScript)
  • Dynamic HTML (client-side scripting: JavaScript, VBScript)
  • XML - your site will provide XML data exchange service or gather info from third-party ones.
  • Server-side includes (SSI)
  • Site-wide styles (CSS1, CSS2)
  • Web Site Imaging
  • Custom server components for ASP

If it is all Greek for you - don't worry! We work with all the platforms and can handle any webhoster. We willl help you to find a right place to host your web site if you still do not have any.

How it works.

If you think you just need something for your customers, you probably need something for your sales representatives and something for yourself to administrate the system and analyze statistics. As a matter of facts, internal systems sometimes are way more complicated than the part of your site that customers can see. We will help you to figure out what kind of administration you need, what kind of statistics can be available for you and how to integrate your sales representatives, clients, prospects and suppliers to the one system.

Web Development Tips.

We have huge experience in do-s and don't-s in web development we would like to share with you. It is pretty simple but for some reasons some companies repeat this mistakes again and again.

Don't:

  • Open tons of pop-up windows. We close pop-up windows before they appear on a screen. Your clients do the same.
  • Make long-long forms. It is rude to add to forms fields you are not really going to analyze. Care about your customers' time!
  • Add too many buttons. Do not put "Cancel" and Reset" buttons to the same page. Do not put "Ok", "Next" and "Submit" buttons together. There is a new fashion to remove "Cancel" button and make pages with a single "Next" button. We are not sure it is a really good idea, but one button is certainly better than five.

Do:

  • Provide a trust, secure environment in which customers can gather and evaluate information.
  • Give your customers a number of ways - key-word search, browsing by subject, hot links to other source of data - to gather and force the information they want
  • Connect your customers to dealers, who are informed of customer's needs and then sustain the trusting, secure once the transaction goes offline.
  • Offer customers unique and sophisticated analysis of information.
  • Develop an extensive information-gathering network that allows it to offer information no one else has.
  • Give customers access to previously unavailable, or difficult-to access information
  • Focus on delivering information clearly - not with a lot of frill
  • Narrow your focus. With so much information out there, no one company can be all things to all people. Develop a niche, then offer depth over breadth.
  • Distill information. We are all drowning in data. Save your customers a lot of time and effort by extracting what is really important
  • Showcase what is important. Let your customers know the benefit of specific information before you present the information itself.
  • Test prototypes. Your target customers can help you identify the kinds and categories of information that are most important to them.
  • Give customers access to information that was heretofore unavailable for them. That way, they can manage their own transactions.
  • Value accessibility over visual effects. Information-hungry customers prefer uncluttered web sites to those dominated by graphics. Use focus groups to help you identify distracting cutter and flag design attributes that may drive away customers.
  • Supporting your site. Customers may need offline advice from you, and it is a wise company that provides it.
  • Point customers to choices they did not even know exists
  • Connect customers to each other, thereby exposing them to new passions and interests.
  • Provide expert advice so customers can make effective choices
  • Position the Web site so it would compliment, rather than replace, employees
  • Build a database of customer preferences using a history of previous visits.
  • Make chat rooms and forums. They provide opportunities for customers to share their opinion with each other. These first-person testimonials often carry more weight than official company advertising pronouncements.
  • Make it easy for your customers to search your inventory of products or services. Your bottom line will be the better for it. Without the assistance of a capable search engine, your customers are likely to overwhelmed and flee.
  • Provide up-to-the minute information on the item's availability, and status of a particular order.
  • Ensure that products are in stock, delivered in time, and guaranteed to be a high quality.
  • Put customers in control on their transactions
  • Go into full-fledged, Web-based partnership with customers
  • Develop networks with sophisticated time- and labor- saving capabilities.
  • Create a site where customers can actually see products before they buy
  • Make long and laborious task quick and easy.
  • Perform tasks that customers do not want to do (first of all, all the possible calculations).
  • Provide step-by-step online technical support that enables customers to customize solutions to their problems.
