Miraplacid Screen Capture 1.0 : Upgrade your Print Screen button.
No matter what you get, chances are - one day you will look for an upgrade. You buy larger flash memory card for your digital camera, install Microsoft Word instead of WordPad for your Windows, get DVD-burner to replace CD-ROM drive in your computer. Well, now it's time to upgrade Print Screen button on your keyboard.
How can you possibly upgrade a button? You cannot, but you can upgrade a function behind it. Miraplacid Screen Capture is just another upgrade to make your work faster and easier.
Like with regular Print Screen button, you can push Print Screen to make a screenshot of a whole screen or you can push Alt + Print Screen to make a screenshot of the active window. Then Miraplacid Screen Capture opens a window with following controls:
- Scaling
- Gamma Correction
- Color Correction
- Crop
- Invert
- Grayscale
You can see exactly what you get in a large preview window on the right side of the Miraplacid Screen Capture dialog.
The user interface is pretty straightforward. The only tricky part is a crop tool. Switch "Borders" control to "Manual" mode and select the part of the screenshot you want to save.
You can save the result as
JPEG,
PDF,
TIFF,
PNG,
BMP or
TGA. Alternatively, you can redirect the screenshot directly to a
printer.
