Miraplacid Scripting Components for Windows updated

Miraplacid Scripting Components for Windows updated, current version is 2.0.1.

Now, it is possible to install and use them safely at 64-bit environment, on all releases of Vista.
Also, some minor fixes made in code, examples and documentation.

Miraplacid Text Driver 2008 family released

Miraplacid Text Driver 2008, Teminal Edition and SDK has been released.

What's new in this version?

1. There was a feature to use original document name in the saved file name, but it inflexible. For your convenience, we have added tag {{DOCNAME}} into file name and path. If path does not exists yet, it will be created. File exatension now represented by {{EXT}} tag.
2. FTP create recursive pathes on FTP server when necessary.
3. Windows Vista Security Requirements compatibility improved.
4. When Windows prints text document, it sometimes splits a phrase into separate chunck. Miraplacid Text Driver usually does good job gluing it back together, but sometimes it needs a little bit of fine-tuning. New version has "Whitespase size". You can adjust it to help Miraplacid Text Driver to distinguish cunked phrases from separate columns of text.
5. Some problems fixed in software and documentation.
6. Administrators may save "Common settings" for users who do not have their profiles yet.

What's new in this version?

1. Printing speed improved a lot.
2. Microsoft Windows Vista and 64-bit Windows support. Vista security requirements compatible.
3. Better Image Preview Window.
4. Better settings management system. Now you can create multiple virtual printers with different settings. For instance, you can create "PDF" printer to convert to PDF and "JPG" printer to save JPEGs.
5. Sending result images by email.
6. GIF format support, including Animated GIF.
7. HTTP transport updated to support HTTPS.
8. FTP now creates nested folders.
9. Personal settings and settings for all users support.

Miraplacid Text Driver 4.4 SDK released

With Miraplacid Text Driver SDK you can create your own software application to extract text from documents or embed this functionality into your software solution.
You can save the extracted information as plain, formatted text or as XML for future processing in all installed codepages and Unicode.
With "Redirect" option, you can print original print job to your physical printer at the time of extracting text.

Miraplacid Text Driver SDK is FREE. You are welcome to download it and embed it into your products.

Miraplacid Publisher 5.2 SDK released

With Miraplacid Publisher SDK you can create your own software application to convert documents to images or embed this functionality into your software solution.
Miraplacid Publisher SDK supports following output formats: PDF, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, TGA and Web Presentation. It will scale and crop images for you, adjust colors and gamma and do some other image processing.

Miraplacid Publisher SDK is FREE. You are welcome to download it and embed it into your products.
